My name is Jeff Green. My family and I moved to Navarre when my wife accepted a chiropractic position at a nearby base. I hold a degree in Architecture and have professional experience across commercial and residential architecture, LEED and environmental considerations, historic preservation, construction, real estate investment, property management, city planning and revitalization.
Raised in Florida’s "hurricane alley" by an engineer and an accountant, my upbringing was defined by a cycle of resilience and redesign. Frequent flooding turned our home into a live case study, prompting us to re-evaluate our remodeling approach through the lens of city growth, soil permeability, and the increasing frequency of 100-year storms. These early experiences sparked a lifelong fascination with intelligent structures and environmentally responsive design. I became driven to understand how architecture evolves alongside population needs—balancing pedestrian causeways with traffic patterns; structural typologies with evolving city scapes; environmental and population shifts with the microeconomics of a living city. This passion eventually led to my recruitment by BRPH’s NASA division following a class design project while in college.
Following the 2008 recession, I applied my architectural training in unexpected ways—helping stabilize and revitalize family businesses and corporations by identifying opportunities through building life-cycle knowledge, construction typologies, and efficient space utilization via habitable zones and the effects and influences of mix use development. My approach focused on return on investment, market demand projections, and how environmental and code constraints impact design and development decisions. These experiences have given me a strong appreciation for the financial and operational efficiencies created by integrating different construction typologies within diverse urban, suburban and rural environments.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey Green .
